In anticipation of Lune Seaport opening up to the outside world, I’d like to begin development of a guild who’s base of operations and activities are going to be centered on the newly-opened town. As most of you know, the citizens of Lune are currently unaware of the existence of adventurers, so I’d imagine the seaport coming into contact with them will largely upset the balance of power within the city, among other things. I’m creating this guild primarily with the intent of playing off of that, and help get adventurers involved in the Lune storyline once they are allowed to do so. This will most likely be the first adventurer’s guild located in Lune, possibly the only adventurer’s guild unless someone else decides to try the same thing. Assuming no one does, this guild will essentially be the only large organized group of adventurers within the city, a totally new faction amongst the colored districts, who have been locked in an intense rivalry with each other for as long as anyone can remember. Considering my character’s personality, it’s unlikely the guild will be formed for the purpose of seeking political power within Lune, but considering the Seaport’s situation, the guild will likely become the “face” of adventurers within the city, something that may come with benefits and consequences. I’m not accepting applications to join yet, and the guild can’t be made until after Lune opens up to adventurers. For now, I’d just like to know who’s interested in joining, and get some help developing the guild itself while it's still just an idea. If no one else appears interested in getting on board with this, I probably won’t bother going through the effort.

I wouldn't mind joining a lune adventurer's guild. It sounds like an interesting idea.

Well, there's enough people to meet the minimum requirement for making a guild, I guess that's something.
I'm gonna start trying to come up with the details; things like the guild name, insignia, small stuff like that. If you guys have any ideas, or want imput regarding that, feel free to say so.

So, ideally, what I’d like to do is, as soon as Lune opens, create a cross-Lune thread consisting of a couple future guild members and any Lune people who’d like to get involved. Basically, they’d have some mutual culture shock; I don’t think the adventurers have met any npcs yet who’d never at least heard of them before, while the Lune don’t know about adventurers period. So we could have fun with that, maybe even do a first hand demonstration by having someone die and revive in the cathedral (much to the surprise of any Lune people in said cathedral). If nothing else, it would certainly grab their attention. That would probably be enough to get other powers-that-be in Lune to start investigating and/or get involved with them, and we can figure things out from there. The guild could form so, if nothing else, people know where to find the adventurers if they want to find them. It would also keep them mostly all in one place until the Lune people know what to do with them. The guild could start with the intention of only being temporary, and depending on what happens after that, either peter out as interest diminishes, or become stronger because things happen.

How do Lune people not know about adventurers? They have existed for decades and there was an entire WORLD event based around Adventurers and the magic that brought them to the world, isolated or not, they would have known about immortal beings performing quests and saving their people for DECADES If that is the case, then count me out, because that idea seems idiotic to me. If that is not the case, then I would be interested in the guild.

Storyline stuff. The British server had only just started up when the apocolypse occurred, that's why most of the server's map is still blocked off; it hasn't been explored yet. It's also why everyone's characters started at level one, because they were using new characters and hadn't had a chance to level them up yet.
Also, Lune has been cut off from the rest of the world, and until the mods give the go ahead to change that, it still is. That's why Lune rpcs arn't yet allowed to interact with non-Lunes or vice-versa. I would advise reading up on the event's details before asking any more questions.

I can direct you to episode 14 of the log horizon that shows Britian in the world history being part of the world faction spell.... New server or not, that stuff is canon. I pm'd Mura to clarify and to fight that. But nonetheless put me down, if you can rope @eleri into it, that would be sweet too. I also have a lander npc non lune that would be fun to rp. I bet landers from outside will go there too once the place is opened up to everyone
