[attr="class","maindivclass"] [attr="class","shirabar g"] [attr="class","shirabar b"] “... it feels a little weird to be dancing with another girl.”
Shira sighed. He felt the need to tell Capsule that he was actually male, but part of him was scared that he may never finish that sentence. Instead, he simply nodded with a warm smile on his face. As the two danced, the atmosphere began to get livelier and livelier as more bards have added their instruments to the tune set by the two violinists. That escalated quickly. A flash mob was not what he intended but it worked out. Shira felt that he had already done his part in distracting the crowd, and was about to get back into the tent.
“Wow, things got lively in a heartbeat! I think our work is done here,” said Shira. The Fox Tail released his grip on Capsule’s hand, but wasn’t letting go for some reason. “Um… you can let go, now, Cap…” The woman had a surprised look on her face, for some reason. Unless it was absolutely obvious, the clueless fox would never find out the reason. She was probably just been distracted. “Anyway… we should go check on the others. I’m sure Adler’s done with whatever it was she was trying to finish.” Shira stepped into the tent and found Adler. Her hands were tinted red with somethig. It looked quite suspicious. As a previously experienced tailor from the Japanese server, Shira could tell the difference between a dye and something else, but that’s only around 75% accurate. Adler was trying to hide something.
Shiranui casually walked up to her. He had a look on his face that said “Hey! I did it!” to hide the fact that he was being wary. “The crowd’s distracted now. I don’t think anybody is going to be barging in anytime soon. Though, I admit, I might have killed business for today. I hope there are no hard feelings.” Shira held his hand out to do a friendly handshake with Adler. Oh, I almost forgot something. “Now, can I have my fortune read?” asked Shira, slightly jokingly mimicking the tone of an impatient child. He hoped it wasn’t so subtle that anyone would take it seriously.

She did not realize they were done until Shira piped up and told her she could let go. "Oh, yeah. Sorry about that," she said as she released the Fox-tail and took a small step back. She had been enjoying herself so much that she must have gotten distracted or something. "Crap…" She pressed a hand against her temple. "I forgot that I was supposed to be running a stall. I left Blackcoat to handle it all on his own." She hoped the man wasn't feeling overwhelmed by the surge of customers. "Excuse me, Shira. It was fun, but I really need to get back to my stall right now."
The two of them split up right then and there, only to meet up again at her station. Adler and Blackcoat she understood, but she was not expecting to see Indy when she pulled back the little cloth divider. "I work here," she snapped when a customer demanded she get back in line. Had there been a door and not a simple blanket between them, she would have slammed it right in their face. Unfortunately, you could not slam a blanket; it could only be fluttered.
"Indy? Why are you back here…?" He wasn't a Chef, a Brewer, or even a Pharmacist, so there wasn't much he could do to help - other than passing out drinks, she supposed. She opened her mouth to say something further, but that was derailed when she spotted the blood on Adler's hands. 'Did Weegee's bleeding get worse?' She wanted to ask how the Fox-tail was fairing, though she had no idea how much the others that were cramping up this small space knew.
"Come on, you guys. It will look weird if there are so many people back here, and there really isn't much room for all of us." She practically had her elbow in Indy's ear, for Pete's sake. "Not that there's much of a crowd left, anyway," she sighed. Shira's dance had worked better than expected, and now there were fewer customers to contend with; not to mention that the line outside was likely dwindling with every second they spent back here.
She wrinkled her nose in distaste at Shira. She was aksing for a fortune now, when Adler's hands were stained red with Weegee's blood? 'I hope she washes her hands first.' Or at all. Either way, she had to find a way to lure the Elf and the Fox-tail out. Blackcoat seemed like the type who could be coerced into silence, but she was unsure about Indy and Shira. 'Now, how do I do that without making myself seem suspicious?'
Capsule seized Indy by one of his pointy ears, and grabbed Shira's tail. Indy was short enough that he would be forced to follow her if she backed up, and Shira may try to pull like a leashed dog, but she held the upper hand. She tugged gently on their respective appendages as she backed out of the "backroom". "Come on, you two...tea thieves. I'll put the two of to work, clearing tables until you pay off your debt." She shrugged at Adler over their shoulders, and then narrowed her eyes at Blackcoat. 'For once in your life, can you just be cool, Blackcoat? Can you?' If the man suspected anything, she hoped he could keep it under his hat while he dealt with Adler. 'Ugh. What a horrible time to abandon my station.' There were too many people involved now, and she feared that they would discover that she almost killed Weegee. The fact that Adler had fresh blood on her hands meant that the Fox-tail was still alive - hopefully.

I'm a member of the Midnight Crew~ The tea making business was a relaxing one. It didn't take much to take care of; he had it down to a method, and for all their given faults in lacking a chef or brewer... the Enchanter had a nice set up going on, with just the right amount of space to keep the tea coming in intervals. Things were actually going pretty smoothly in that regard, and the customers - while still angsty - were noticebly calmer now that the line was moving. All they were weird about now was their palm readings, so... there still looked to be people standing around. Not much he could do about that.
"Cap, I need a bucket of hot water to clean the blood from -" and that was as far as the voice got as Blackcoat turned, his hands still at work pouring a cup of tea as his chocolate eyes zoomed over to take in... oh, the fortune teller. Talking about cleaning blood. Blackcoat was still beading her down with his gaze as his hand methodically stopped pouring the tea - at just the right moment - and lightly set the cup down. She said a hello to him and he just blinked, wondering what the heck he should say. He looked from her to the cup in his spare hand, then looked to her and lightly held it up.
". . . tea, miss, and I'll, uhm... fetch you some water?" He knew better than to question further as to why she needed the water; all that mattered was that she did need it and that she didn't exactly sound patient. Some tones of edge in her voice. He put the cup down and his eyes darted about, spotting a pot with long handles. It could do?
He went about moving that into position to fill it with water right as the blonde elf showed up, sparking him to look over this guy. He was the bard, if he remembered correctly - the one playing the nice music. Huh. Wonder why he wasn't playing it anymore? Blackcoat just kind of blinked at him and went to say something, but before he could open his mouth someone else showed up - a voice he somewhat tinkled into his memory as the Enchanter's kidnapper?
All the while Blackcoat just kind of... silently filled up a bucket, wondering what he got himself dragged into. At least Capsule showed back up and, while she did seem... irate, he wasn't going to say a word. Blackcoat was here to make tea. That was it. Focus on the help he can do and then... uh, wing it.
It wasn't until Capsule pulled the two meddlers out of the room at the bucket was adequately filled, and Blackcoat hefted it, still doing his best to not look at what may or may not be on Adler's hands. "Uh, here's your water, miss... but, uh, if you need something washed, I am a Housekeeper...?" He turned what could have been a statement into a question of uncertainty, knowing that tea still needed to be served out. Ideally he -could- do both, but... he had no idea what the heck it was this woman had done, so he just resolved to play it cool.
Or else Capsule might get him. I'm a night owl and a wise bird too~ N O T E S: ...

She clasped her hands together and looked around, willing herself not to fidget. She was watching, therefore, when Indy brushed the cloth divider aside and joined her and the Cleric behind the counter. “Yes, yes, I’ve got it under control.” She reassured him in answer to his query. “Blackcoat’s getting me some water.” She may have stared into Indy’s eyes longer than she should’ve, but she was trying to mentally tell him that it was about Weegee. He was there when the Monk collapsed, so he should’ve been able to connect the dots. It looked like he understood her anyway. When Shiranui and Capsule reentered the tent and saw the three of them together, they naturally decided to crash the party. Capsule stiffened when she saw Adler’s hands, and Adler redirected her stare to her. She was sure Capsule would get it at least. The Enchanter tried to get the other two to leave the tent, which was fine by Adler. Finally, some help. Shira oblivious as he was, kept talking. “They’ll be wanting a drink after they dance anyway.” She said darkly to the Fox-tail’s first comment, raising a brow at his proffered hand. Couldn’t he see her hands glisten slightly? He was a strange one. “And you’ll need tea for me to read your fortune.” Adler failed to suppress a smirk as the ginger dragged the men off by an ear and a tail. Such a dysfunctional lot. At last, Blackcoat had finished filling the bucket. Adler shook her head and smiled sweetly at the Cleric’s offer. “Thank you, but no. I’ve got it covered. Asking boys to buy napkins is one thing. Cleaning our, well, is much different. I couldn’t ask it of you. Thanks again for the water!” Smooth. Adler took the vessel from him and walked away, giving Capsule a meaningful look as she slipped back into her side of the tent. ‘Don’t let anyone in.’ She hoped it was as obvious as she thought it was. “I’m back. Now where are your clo—what on earth are you two doing?” She scolded Vayne and Weegee. [attr="class","stats"] Notes <3

The world is a dangerous place, and if you sit around wringing your hands about it, you'll miss out on all the adventure. words 729 BARD : AP HAS NOT YET BEEN CLAIMED | The gray haired fortuneteller assured him that everything was all right, and held his gaze longer than was usual. He couldn't read the other Adventurer's mind, but given everything that's happened since the crowd appeared, the Bard guessed that whatever it was that Adler was doing, it had something to do with what happened to Weegee earlier. In response, he gave a slight nod of his head, trusting that the other would do whatever she felt was best.
A commotion from behind him made Indy look back, and he watched both Shiranui and Capsule enter the small tea-making area as well. Now with all five of them in there, it felt tight and claustrophobic. The Bard didn't feel too uncomfortable though, and smiled while giving a small wave at the red haired woman when she asked him a question. "Ah, Miss Capsule. Well, I got tired of playing my violin, so I was going to offer a different kind of help by serving tea to customers." He explained. "And...I was sidetracked when Miss Adler came in, I suppose." He gave a half-hearted chuckle while he scratched the back of his head.
He was watching Shiranui and Adler speaking to each other when all of a sudden, he felt someone pulling at one of his elven ears, leading him away from the tent. Indy winced and had no choice but to move along with the hand - Capsule's hand, he realized a second later. It didn't help that the shape of his ears made it easy for anyone to pull on it. His face turned red in embarrassment as she began leading them out. Everyone outside would see her pulling both Shiranui and himself out like a couple of misbehaved children. It grated on his nerves to be treated as such.
He reached up and grabbed the red haired woman's wrists, planning to make her let go, then froze before he could actually do it. There were plenty of ways for him to escape her clutches - he had learned a few tricks in self-defense - but it would mean hurting her. And despite the pain and irritation he was feeling right now, he couldn't bring himself to hurt the other player. He clenched his jaw as he settled on keeping his grip on her hands while he struggled not to trip on his own feet.
Beside him, he saw Shiranui being pulled by his tail and felt better about his own predicament. I don't know what it feels to have a tail, but it probably hurts a lot for it to be pulled like that.
Eventually, she let go, and Indy straightened up as he reached up to rub his ear with an expression of pain on his face. A few seconds later, he looked at Capsule with a frown and took a deep breath, before speaking in a modulated tone. "Miss Capsule, really, I gave you no reason to manhandle me in such a manner. Had you properly asked me to leave, I would have done so. What made you believe that you needed to take me out by force? It was, quite frankly, insulting."
Sure, they didn't know each other that well, so it was possible for Capsule to think that he was up to no good, but neither would she have known him well enough to take action when he hadn't even done anything yet. He felt insulted by her actions, and had it been a man who had done it, he would have demanded satisfaction. Indy may be a friendly and approachable person, and but it was during times like these when those who knew him would remember who he actually was - a man who was born and raised as an English noble. He was more prideful than others, and was not one to take such things quietly.
He took out a few gold coins from his pouch - an amount that was bigger than what the tea and fortune cost - and held it out to her in a cool manner. "I didn't stay here to work off a debt that you believe I owe you. I was here to help a friend, which I realize now was a mistake on my part. I apologize for presuming that our relationship was such. Please, accept this payment for the trouble I've caused you, then I'll be on my way."

Shiranui would have been able to examine Adler’s hand if it wasn’t for Capsule’s meddling. Tea thieves? Debt? What? The Fox Tail tilted his head to the side, in slight confusion. Was she trying to get rid of us? It made the scene look more suspicious than before. With intent to drag them away, she held Indy by the ear then Shira by the- Oh god, no. Stop! Too late. The Alf had already gotten a firm grip on his tail. Shira felt a jolt pass through his body, followed by a tingly feeling that tended to linger even after Capsule would let go. For some reason, the tail was very sensitive to the touch of others. It felt like someone was tickling while groping him at the same time. The Fox Tail could barely contain himself. “Nnnngh...” he mumbled, holding in his voice with much difficulty. He was beginning to fluster. WHY?! WHY THE TAIL?!
He felt like he couldn’t move- not with Capsule at the reigns. With every tug, a he could feel his voice trying to escape him. The sensation… he couldn’t handle it. It was just so… unnatural. At this point Shira’s face was probably bright red. I-i-it’s hotter than an o-oven, here… W-when did things g-g-get like this? Even in his thoughts, he was stuttering. He had to break free before he suddenly faints. “P-p-please… Le-... Let go of my tail…” Shira squeaked in a tiny voice. When she did, Shira felt like gasping for air. Have I been holding my breath?! His face was regaining composure at a gruelingly slow pace.
“C-c-can we c-clear the t-t-tables now?” said Shira, his face still flustered and red. He felt violated in a way. In all honesty, he didn't know if should be angry at Capsule or not. It wasn't that the tail grabbing was bad, it just wasn't good either. It may or may not have brought about conflicting emotions as well. He turned away, wanting to keep his red face hidden at all times. It could have been worse. Capsule could have done that to all three of his tails he would have fainted for sure!

I GET ALONG WITH THE VOICES INSIDE OF MY HEAD
While Adler had went to get something to clean up all the blood with, Weegee had a slightly, different idea. Removing his old, worn shirt he began to soak up some of the blood with it, and began to lick it off of the cloth. It was, well, an interesting taste to say the least. Similar to its real life taste, but somehow, sweeter? It was almost as addicting as it was before, but his shirt was a little too worn out to hold much. Turning his gaze to Vayne, a rather, creepy smile stretched across his face, showing off plenty of sharp teeth.
"Oh Vayne. Might I... have your shirt?" Without even waiting on his answer, Weegee seemed to gain a burst of strength as he leaped at him. His eyes were wide with what seemed like madness, as he tried to rip Vayne's shirt off from him. "Come on man, it's only for a little bit, not a soul will know. I'll even hand your clothes back when I'm finished. Just give it to me, damn it." Of course, it was at that moment that Adler would walk in, finding Weegee on top of Vayne in a nearly cowboy position. Looking up, he shrugged for a split second before he ripped the shirt off of Vayne's chest.
"I was thirsty, and my shirt wasn't soaking up my blood good enough." And without a single thought against it, he would soak the shirt in his blood and pour what would fall out of it as he sighed. "Delicious."

She supposed it was only natural for them to be interested in why she was manhandling the Elf and the Fox-tail, or as she had so eloquently put it, the “Tea Thieves.’ ’I could always just pretend this was an act or something.’ An act to draw a crowd by humiliating Indy and Shira? That sounded plausible enough, except for how Indy reacted to having his ear grabbed like a naughty little ne’er-do-well. ’…I guess I should have seen this coming,’ she thought as she met Indy’s glare head on. That required her to lower her head, since he was so little. One of the advantages to being so (artificially) tall was that she could simply choose not to look at someone, but over them.
It would have been easier to take Indy seriously if the Fox-tail beside her wasn’t squirming and making funny noises, which was really distracting. She reflexively squeezed Shira’s tail as Indy continued to chastise her, and stared at the gold coins that were shoved out in front of her. ”…I don’t want your money, Indy. And I didn’t mean to manhandle you. I just –“ She cut herself off before she could finish that sentence. ’- couldn’t allow you to know about Weegee.’ What was she going to do? Claim that this was a joke? ”It’s just…you guys were in my station, and I felt a little threatened – like a territorial lion.” Oh God, no one would believe that – would they? She needed to do something with her hands, which were fidgeting and squeezing Shira’s tail, so she tugged on a second so that she could hold one in each hand.
”I’m sorry that I offended you, Indy. I wasn’t thinking when I did it, otherwise I never would have grabbed your ear.” She could also lie and say that she just wanted an excuse to touch an Elf’s ear and a Fox-tail’s fluffy tail, but that would probably just piss him off more than he already was. Besides – Shira’s tail was fluffier and more pleasing to the touch. It was like stroking the tail of a very bushy cat. ’So this is what fox fur feels like, eh?’ She then realized that touching Shira’s tail without her permission was just as rude as grabbing Indy’s ear, and reluctantly released it. ”I’m sorry about that too, Shira.” The expression on Capsule’s face could best be described as sheepish.
The Fox-tail’s expression was impossible to read, as her back was turned. Capsule could only guess that Shira was feeling a combination of embarrassed and angry, though not knowing for sure was rather frustrating. ’ Ugh. I hope she’s not crying because of me.’ That’s what the quavering in Shira’s pleading voice had sounded like. ”Er…yeah. The tables still need to be cleared, I guess. Though, if you don’t want to…” She swiped a hand though the air above Shira’s back, as though she were going to comfort the Fox-tail but thought better of it.
’Way to go, Cap.’ She had angered one friend and embarrassed another, all so that she could help cover up her own misdeeds. ’I hope Adler comes through and gets Weegee sorted out, else I just ruined a few relationships for nothing.’ Frankly, she would be surprised if either of them wanted anything to do with her for a while. The eyes of the dwindling crowd only made her feel worse, too. It was like they were judging all three of them. ’Oh, go drown in your teacups,’ she thought, mind and glare full of bitterness.

I'm a member of the Midnight Crew~ Blackcoat wasn't quite sure how to handle what his ears had just picked up. The situation was already extremely odd, but now the Guardian was talking about buying napkins and...? As she took the water from him and skedaddled, the math of her words finally added up in his head and he was forced to pause for a moment. Does that... wait, does that still happen here in this world...?
He found himself at a temporary loss for words, hand raising up and about to pull at the curtain to try and get the Guardian's attention again but there was another burst of sound from the tea-wanting crowd. Right, they had to be dealt with. He looked back and forth between the tea and the curtain and with a sigh, went back over, resolving to just... ask someone about that later. Not that it was any of his business, but... well, someone had to, uh, make products for such a predicament, and Blackcoat was aware of his basic crafting skills and that he could, at the least, pull strings to get the right people to, uh, market something...
He was unawares of how flustered his face was getting from such a line of thought, trying to push out tea cups left and right to appease the masses. Blackcoat, looking at all the stuff in front of him, wondered if he could... maybe? Nah, he'd need.... oh, there was a jar right there. Perfect.
As the current tea was settling to be served, he pulled out some more ingredients - sugar, water, and such - and got to work at making something a little extra to pass the time. He used the other burner next to the tea pot to heat up the water, stirred in the sugar, put it in the pot once it hit a boil, squeezed in a little bit of lemon and let it sit while he went back to tea. Perhaps, even if he couldn't help with... effeminate problems... he could help with a touch of candy.
Although, as he looked around, he truly was curious as to where everyone else went. Was he to be all alone back here after all? I'm a night owl and a wise bird too~ N O T E S: ...

Death is only the beginning. @weege, Adler / DANGER DANGER / 547 words As Vayne watched the rest of the people leave, he took it upon himself to look after Weegee. The man was drugged and bleeding, so its better for him to not be alone at the time. The man might hurt himself as he may still be disoriented. He sighed as he preoccupied himself with watching Adler leave the tent to probably do some crowd control on the other parts of the tea shop. Vayne yawned as he noticed Weegee suddenly look at his bloody clothes. "Poor guy, he must be wondering on why hes bleeding." he thought as he watched. Suddenly, Weegee did something weird. The man started to lick the blood off his shirt. Vayne cocked an eyebrow and scratched his head. "Man, what did these people give Weegee? Hes positively tripping right now." Vayne thought as he watched Weegee's peculiar actions. Vayne was about to tell Weegee off when he turned to Vayne, a hungry look in his eyes. Vayne felt a chill run up his spine, his survival instincts letting off the warning signals screeching "DANGER DANGER" in his head. As Vayne started to back up, Weegee started to speak. Vayne felt fear, more than what he felt when he got face to face with the Ancient Ammut in the swamp, as Weegee gave him a creepy smile. "Oh Vayne. Might I... have your shirt?" Weegee said hungrily. Before Vayne could answer, Weegee pounced on him. Vayne was caught off guard, not being able to guard against Weegee's assault. Oh crap." Vayne feebly uttered as Weegee straddled him and started clawing at his shirt. Weegee was muttering crazy stuff that Vayne's preoccupied mind could not register at the moment. Vayne tried to fight back, but the more powerful body of the monk pinned him down easily. Vayne was at a loss as Weegee ripped off his shirt. "GET OFF ME!" Vayne yelled as he tried his hardest to push Weegee off. At that moment, Adler decided to hop back into this part of the tent and she was frozen in place as she saw what she walked into. Adler asked what they were doing, and Weegee gave the answer "I was thirsty, and my shirt wasn't soaking up my blood good enough." like it was the most natural and normal thing in the world. "Aside from getting assaulted, straddled and stripped? Things couldn't be more NORMAL." Vayne said in a sarcastic, shrill voice as he tried his very best to throw Weegee off him. Vayne, in a last ditch effort, got his left hand, which was pinned behind his back when he was straddled by Weegee, free and commanded his puppet. The puppet, which was sitting in the corner, creaked and leaped to Vayne's aid. The puppet pulled Weegee off Vayne by grabbing the man by the shoulders and dragging him off. For added measure, Vayne used his puppeteer skill "Act one" on Weegee, freezing him in place with the puppet restraining him like a vice. "God damn it Weegee! Get yourself together!" Vayne said as he picked up his shirt. "You got slobber and blood all over my shirt man!""And Adler, what did you give Weegee? Hes totally high right now!" Vayne exclaimed as he looked at the bucket that Adler is holding. Can I wash my shirt in that? CODED BY DUCKIE OF GS

[attr="class","adler_post a"] [attr="class","aptype"]Adl&r, the Guardian [attr="class","stats right"] Thread Type Event Status Open to everyone at anytime! Tagged @blackcoat Wrote 391 words Adler was stunned. She walked in on Weegee straddling a very flustered Vayne, then suddenly, the former ripped off the latter’s shirt like he was the Hulk or something. There was a mad look in Weegee’s face that definitely hadn’t been there when she left. The Guardian was too shocked to even blush at what should’ve been an inappropriate scene. All thought had been suspended, her confusion making it seem like she was frozen in time. Then she realized—Weegee was a troll. Not physically of course. A troll was what people call those who deliberately mess with other people for fun. She had already seen the watered down version of it earlier at the Facewood stall, though Vayne’s uncouthness had made everything else seem angelic. In real life, Isabella was severely bothered by these things. Now was her chance to be ‘cool’. She forced herself to grin an laugh. “Ha! I see what’s going on.” No, she really didn’t. She hoped Vayne was the target of this particular prank though. Adler shook her head when the Puppeteer commanded his minion to do restrain Weegee. “Kinky. Go ahead Vayne. I’ll leave this here for you to clean up afterward. Don’t you dare come out in the tea side if you need to go gallivanting around. That exit’s perfectly fine.” She pointed at the door Shiranui and Vayne had entered through before setting down the bucket with an audible clunk and waving her goodbye. “And keep the noise down.” The woodcrafter had apologized for possibly ruining their stall earlier, so it stood to reason that he would still think it a priority now. A small reminder wouldn’t hurt however. Ignoring anything else that came from the two men, she washed her hands with the water from the bucket before she went back to the tea parlor side of the tent and quickly tacked on a sign she had made earlier that said DO NOT DISTURB. She was supposed to use it to keep new customers from interrupting current ones, but she’d forgotten all about it from worrying about Weegee. But what could she do? ‘Blackcoat.’ She remembered, heading for the counter. ‘He should still be alone while Capsule dealt with those two. Honestly, they almost exposed me.’ She ducked under the cloth divider and cleared her throat loudly. “Hey. Need a hand?”[attr="class","stats"] Notes Hello there~

The sun was beaming, the birds were singing, today was an abnormally good day. She walked through town with a somewhat stupid smile plastered on her face; she greeted every living being with a wave and a 'hello' as she strolled on by. There was a little energetic pep in her step, she was so happy to the point that her lycanthropic characteristics began to emerge. She hummed a random jaunty and campy tune as she skipped along with her tail swaying from side to side. Despite her appearance, she wasn’t anywhere near acting her age. It was almost as if she regressed back to her childhood, if anyone saw this they’d clearly think that either this girl was insane or just plain out annoying. But what was the cause of this randomly generated happiness, it definitely wasn’t the festival going on around her.
It all started before the sun even reared its hide, Aurora was perched in a tree, deep in the forest, sleeping off a somewhat obnoxious day. The entire night she sat in her tree, grumbling and cursing under her breath. A bug has just so happened to crawl down from the highest branch of the tree and onto her clothes. As the creepy little jade spawn of the devil slowly moved each of its long thick legs to move towards her neck, she slightly cringed from the little sensation of the disgusting arthropod.
The little devilish insect separated its jaw-like appendages and in one quick movement, bit the young girl that it has been preying on. Aurora jerked and slapped her neck from the sudden discomfort with so much force that she knocked herself out of the tree and onto a large patch of flowers that lied underneath. Fortunately, she was a heavy sleeper and the sudden relocation didn't bother her too much, so she went back to snoring peacefully in La-La Land. Little did she know that the floors that those flowers were going to lead her into a smiling hell. As soon as she hit the ground, the flowers doused her in their pollen.
So now she was walking through town like a goofy imbecile, all the while being aware that she was doing so. Talk about an out of body experience, I need to get someone to help me, she thought while walking through the crowd filled streets. She came upon this tent that seemed to handing out tea to the customers, Maybe I can find someone to help me here. As she walked in, her eyes focused in on a red haired woman, a fox tail with a blushing face, and a blonde bard. This seemed like some stupid joke with no punch line, nevertheless she needed someone to help rid her of this sickening feeling. Aurora casually walked up, her cherry pink locks bouncing along with every step she took, unbeknownst to her that she was spreading the pollen around, she poked the tall redhead in the side. "Excuse me, could you wonderful people be so kind as to help me?” she asked while looking with a beaming smile. After a few seconds had gone by, she quickly covered her mouth after realizing her tone of voice had changed. Her voice had become softer and more polite than it originally was then her words were hit with the opposite meaning of what she meant to say. Oh god! Oh god! No! No! No! No! Don’t tell me my speech is being mucked around with as well, she thought. After a few seconds of lamenting, she decided to try it out, “Wonderful people,” she meant ‘lousy’. “You highly intelligent people,” she had most definitely meant ‘idiotic’. “I’m a stupid farm girl, who goes around picking fights with whomever has a problem with me!” she yelled at the top of her sickeningly sweet voice, then was immediately on the verge of tears after noticing every word that was directed at her came out how she thought it. She couldn't badmouth others, but she could talk crap about herself. What was worse she said all of this with a smile, the day just needs to be over already. The world is a dangerous place, and if you sit around wringing your hands about it, you'll miss out on all the adventure. words 504 BARD : AP HAS NOT YET BEEN CLAIMED | Indy frowned as Capsule apologized to him and Shiranui, then tried to explain her behavior to them. "You called me a thief, then went on to say that I should pay off my debt by cleaning the tables..." There was plenty he wanted to say to her - mostly questions on her sanity and intelligence - but he had been raised to be polite and disciplined, even when he was angry or excited, so he said nothing else on that point. And in the end, her explanations made no sense to him.
"You felt...territorial?" He repeated. This red haired woman, who in panic kept running in circles - before asking for his help - when a pig tried to follow her around. The same, quiet and reserved woman who asked him for lessons in fighting because she was unused to it. I suppose it's not impossible. She could become the most violent woman I've ever met when certain requirements are met. He didn't believe it though, and sensed that she was trying to hide the real reason for her actions from him, though he couldn't figure out the why she felt the need to lie to him.
He took a deep breath, then let it out in a sigh when she mentioned the need for tables to be cleaned again. He glanced around the room, watching some customers as they received tea, while those who were finished stood up and left their tables. He straightened out one arm as he began to fold up his sleeve, then did the same to the other. His anger was cooling off as time passed - he was not one to stay mad at anything or anyone for long - and when he glanced back at Capsule, it was with a sad expression.
"You're forgiven Miss Capsule. Though the next time you want to try and hide something from me, you can simply tell me so. It's not like you owed me any explanations. You're the owner, and I'm just a customer. You were well within your rights to tell me to leave - and you wouldn't have to pull at my ear to do it."
He turned around and was about to look for a piece of cloth to clean the tables when a young girl walked up to the three Adventurers. She was trying to get Capsule's attention before asking for their help - and suddenly veering from the topic with compliments to them and insults to herself. It's like this stall is a magnet for trouble...
Without missing a beat, he stepped forward and cleared his throat before he gave a small bow to the pink haired woman and smiled back at her. He decided to at least try and see what she wanted, before anything else happened or was said. "Good day to you miss. You musn't be so hard on yourself. Being able to bravely stand up against others can be a good quality at times. Now then, you were asking for our help? How can we be of service?"

I'm a member of the Midnight Crew~ He had a system going - a nice, easy system. Candy in check, it was just down to the tea, and making tea was quite like any other household task that Blackcoat was quite familiar with. From the game perspective he had to enjoy making tea; he couldn't make any other actual drinks besides these kinds, as he lacked the skills that a Brewer would have, but it seemed that the most basic of drinks like tea and lemonade were accessible to him. He figured that it came down to the simplicity and smallness of the ingredients lists.
He mostly enjoyed it, however, as it was something he was equally apt in in the real world, Yes, his father always did take the mickey out of him for it, but with it just being them he had to adapt and learn all of it - the cooking, the cleaning, how to care for a house and for a father who was always bringing home odd women at odd hours. It was something of a calming rhythm; while he was creating the art of subsistence, he was cleansing himself of frustrations and curiosities, and this left him exist and drift about in the background.
For people outside of his head, this manifested in a humming style of making tea with his hands moving like a telephone operator, conducting the ingredients to the music of drinking. Grab, pinch, stir, dip, tip, pour... two hands making tea for many.
He was going to be content with keeping up with this quiet rhythm and hand dance until a familiar voice entered the room, and with an eyebrow quirk, he turned his head to spy the Fortune Teller. "Hello, miss," he began softly with a smile. She was looking for some way to help, hrm? He moved his eyes back to the tea and candy.
"Well, help pouring cups would be appreciated... or tasting this, that would be swell." He indicated the jar of crystallizing sugar. "Just pull out the string and try it." Once the string would pull out, it would be coated in many fruit-flavored sugar crystals of various sizes, just right for plucking and biting off, even if they would be a tad sweet at the moment.
"Or, um, just telling me what else needs to get done would be nice. My subclasses, well, allow me to work with both cloth and wood, if you need anything, miss." Blackcoat was always a bit too eager to put himself to work and help. I'm a night owl and a wise bird too~ N O T E S: ...

[attr="class","adler_post a"] [attr="class","aptype"]Adl&r, the Guardian [attr="class","stats right"] Thread Type Event Status Open to everyone at anytime! Tagged @blackcoat Wrote 457 words Adler briefly lamented the premature closing of her fortunetelling stall in the time it took for Blackcoat to turn around and greet her. ‘There’s no way I’ll be able to entertain guests in there. I can’t even imagine what it looks like right now.’ A disturbing image began to come together in her mind, but she banished it away as soon as she realized what was happening. She did not want to visualize what was going on between the two men who, apparently, both went mad during lunar celebrations. ‘Makes me feel like I’m not trying hard enough.’She listened as the Cleric suggested waitressing, which Adler didn’t mind, except he followed up the suggestion with another one about taste testing— “Rock candy.” Her jaw dropped. She tried subtly moving towards the jar (at least not too quickly, she hoped) and very casually fingered one of the knots on a stick that held up the confections, allowing them to form into little rods of edible crystal. “I think we’re doing well actually.” Pinching the short end of the ribbon, Adler tugged slowly but firmly. “Thank you for helping out by the way. I never dreamed we’d get so many customers at once.” The knot unraveled. Adler lifted the candy carefully from the jar and gulped. She hadn’t had sweets since… the Catastrophe. Fruit didn’t count of course; nothing matched the unhealthy taste of pure sugar. “Did you make these just now?” She asked him, a hint of something like reverence quite clear in the tone she used to talk to him. This was probably going to get her killed, but she’d had such a craving since that fateful day. “Don’t mind if I do.” She popped the whole thing in her mouth. Sugar. It was so sweet, it was almost unbearable. The only thing keeping her from crunching everything and swallowing it in second was the uncertainty of when she’d be able to get more. Control.“Ish ‘onderhul.” She said, the rock candy sticking out of the side of her mouth like a cigar. “A mahking apron ‘ould be naich.” She smiled at Blackcoat while she curled her fingers around the handle of a tea pot. “Be righ’ back.” She very consciously kept her saliva in check as she ducked back out to the main tent and went around refilling cups. When the pot was empty, she returned to the front counter and handled a few transactions as well. With fewer people than before, there were just enough seats to accommodate everybody who wanted to stay in. When the line was finally seen to, Adler rejoined Blackcoat. By then, most of the candy had already melted, and her saliva was like syrup. “Is the next pot ready?”[attr="class","stats"] Notes Unfortunate timing. We just had a discussion about this, and I'm afraid everything's greener than intended.

I GET ALONG WITH THE VOICES INSIDE OF MY HEAD
As Adler left the two alone, Weegee found himself restrained by the puppet that Vayne controlled. Tilting his head to one side, he smiled at Vayne with a brief, wicked flash in his eyes. "Playing dirty now, are we? You do know how easily a Woodcrafter can crack your puppet, right?" He chuckled lightly, just soft enough for Vayne to hear as his voice remained a whisper. "Come on Vayne, just let me go and it won't be any trouble. I've had my fill of blood for the day, and I won't worry you or anyone else, here, at least." He chuckled darkly this time as he stared with wide eyes at the man. "You heard Adler, I can just use the back door, then poof, off I go. I'll be back tomorrow all better and less, well, this." His smile gleamed in the light as he struggled to get free of the puppet, looking between Vayne and the doorway Adler had mentioned.
He would crack his neck, which would produce a very loud sound, much like bones snapping from a high velocity impact before he uttered a few mord words. "Anyways man, I really have to take a leak, and I really don't want to do that here. Aside from the obvious effects it would have on me, yourself and the store, well, urine and wood don't work well together." He kind of shifted his legs as he chuckled. He wasn't lying, he really, really had to go to the bathroom.

I'm a member of the Midnight Crew~ As Adler the Guardian responded to him, he kept on the same tireless face - the casual smile of one happy with what he was doing in life. He was watching her out of the corner of his eye, however - studying the way she went to the rock candy jar, examining it and figuring it out as she slowly plucked it out. She thanked him for his help, prompting him to hum out in a questioning way and look at her.
"Not a problem, miss. Couldn't say no to those in need." She seemed like the amiable type, at least. More social than the Enchanter, in her own way - the one making drinks before him was more of a watch and learn type, he reckoned, while the Guardian sharing this current space with him was the one who had been in charge. He mused over how she commented regarding the customer surge, realizing that it made sense, given how this place was set up - it was built to deal with a maximum of.... ten people, maybe? Not the crowd that fought their way in before.
The candy quote prompted him to raise his eyebrows at her as he added in the lemon to some of the tea. "Uh... yes, miss. Just set it up while you were busy with your... uh, water bucket." Yeah, let's just call it that for the sake of avoiding any embarrassing moments. No need to go and get his ass kicked by another woman, especially one that seemed less... inclined to do so.
He chuckled to himself as she popped the candy in, leaning back onto the counter space as she gave a rave review... kind of. He got the original gist of her saying it was wonderful - or wonderwall? - but after that he didn't quite catch her words. A... making apron would be nice...? Make an apron? He blinked at the words as she grabbed the tea and skedaddled away, leaving him to... well, guess it was time to make another pot.
He readied the water, letting the flame lick at the bottom of the bot as he sighed and went about reorganizing the ingredients. From the sound of everything, the day had come to a slow down, so he didn't need so much en masse. Just the basics for the tea and perhaps more candy - the Guardian did seem to like it. He was in the midst of setting up the second jar, in fact, stirring in the sugar and flavor when she came back. He just wanted there to be enough candy for... well, everyone who wanted some, really. He was just enjoying making it, like how he kept making it for all the young children trapped within this world.
"Oh, um... yes, it appears so, miss." He gave her a polite smile and nod before moving a hand over to the pot itself, readying it for pouring and the like. Didn't want to disappoint, and she seemed like she needed a drink. I'm a night owl and a wise bird too~ N O T E S: ...

Muse: AmberNotes:I wonder what color Capsule's energy is right now.Tags:Adler, Aurora, @blackcoat & Indy Words:684[newclass=.benetbar]background-color:#050505; border: 2px solid #050505; border-radius: 5px; overflow: hidden; width: 100px; height:6px;[/newclass] [attr="class","benetbar"] [newclass=.benetbar]background-color:#050505; border: 2px solid #050505; border-radius: 5px; overflow: hidden; width: 100px; height:6px;[/newclass] [attr="class","benetbar"] 'Did he actually buy that? Please tell me he bought that!' He accepted her apology, but she had no idea if he actually bought her story. 'Fudge.' Capsule was a horrible liar. It would have been easier for her to tell the truth, but that would likely only make her look even worse to the little man. She and Adler were covering up Weegee's almost death (which she had caused by giving him potion that obviously had some adverse effect), and rather than seek help or even enlist her own medicinal skills, the Fox-tail had been stored under a table. How would that scene look to Indy? They had an injured man lying back there, and were serving tea like everything was normal.
She could see it now; Indy, forcing his way back into Adler's section, dragging Weegee from under the table, checking the Fox-tail for any signs of life, and staring accusatorily at the two women running this shindig. How was she supposed to justify their actions; claim that they had to deal with the crowd, rather than deal with Weegee's injuries? She would rather they lost their friendship over the ear pulling than be declared a murderer and public enemy! That was definitely the kind of publicity she did not want!
Before she could do or say anything else to discredit her further, a short redhead sauntered over to them. Capsule blinked in mild confusion as she took the girl's words in. Why was she talking so...strangely? She jumped back a bit, startled when the girl suddenly screamed out something about her being a "stupid farm girl." 'What on earth…?' This stall really was good at attracting the weirdos, it seemed. A small voice in the back of her mind chose that moment to pipe up, asking 'Are you any better?' Probably not. Her social skills were (more than) a little shaky, and though she tried to act like she had everything together, she was actually a pretty big hazard to herself.
Even though he had seemed so angry a few minutes ago, Indy stepped up to calmly offer his assistance to the girl. 'I kind of envy his composure.' Was he conditioned to be that way, much like she had been cowed into obedience and submissiveness at an early age? She could act a bit like that if she wanted, though that was only around imposing figures, like her father. If it was something she didn't know how to handle, however, she was more inclined to panic and fumble around with her words and movements.
"Er…" She was the co-owner of the stand, but Indy actually behaved like he was the one running the show. "...Did you come here for some tea and fortunes?" Yes, Capsule. Ask the customer a dumb question like that. Why else would the girl be here, if not for tea or fortune reading? 'Ugh…' She almost felt like she should leave this to Indy and go back to helping poor Blackcoat with the line of customers. "Actually, Indy. If you don't mind, can you help her out real quick? I should go back and help Blackcoat with the customers." She jerked back a thumb at her station, and without waiting for Indy's confirmation, began inching her way back.
She turned around, and all but ran behind the small area, almost colliding with Adler in her haste. "Oh. Sorry." The Guardian and Cleric seemed blissfully unaware of the trouble Capsule had just dealt with. 'Lucky bastards.' She stepped beside Blackcoat, pretending to examine the pot he carefully cradled in his hands, but shot Adler an inquisitive look. If she was still here, did that mean that Weegee was fine? "Well, since I'm back now," she said, more to Blackcoat but in Adler's direction. "Maybe Adler can go back to her stall?" She squinted a bit at the woman for emphasis. "Hopefully all the interruptions are done, so I should be able to help - resume looking over my stall." Why couldn't she have handled Indy with such ease? 'Why did you have to be so damned awkward?'

[attr="class","adler_post b"] [attr="class","aptype"]Adl&r, the Fortuneteller [attr="class","stats right"] Thread Type Event Status Open to everyone at anytime! Wrote 426 words The Cleric was incredibly efficient. All he had to do when she came back for another pot of tea was transfer it to the counter for her to take. “Right. Be right back then.” And off she went to refill more cups. Most of their clients still had enough tea however, so when Adler finished catering to everyone, she still had a bit of tea left. On her way back, Capsule literally bumped into her from outside, causing her to spill some tea on the ground.. “Whoa there.” The Pharmacist apologized. “Careful, Cap.” There were three of them behind the counter now, after Adler joined them and set the tea pot down where Blackcoat could get it. She didn’t see the point in rinsing it out if he was just going to fill it up with tea again. Capsule took one look at the new pot in Blackcoat’s hands and glanced at Adler curiously. She tried to signal back that Weegee was fine, but the message didn’t seem to go across properly. “Actually,” She said after the ginger strongly hinted that Adler should get back and deal with their problem, thereby confirming she didn’t get her meaning earlier. “One of our customers is in there recovering from, mm, his bad reaction. It wasn’t the tea, he assured me, just, ah, something to do with… actually, he didn’t say, but he said it’s happened before, and he apologized for worrying us.” The Guardian stared into Capsule’s eyes then, willing her to understand. “A mutual friend actually came by to look after him. You remember the one we all met earlier? He brought us a watermelon?” That should be descriptive enough. He didn’t actually give them the piece of fruit however, more like annihilated it before proceeding to verbally harass them all accidentally. “So yeah, I’d rather stay out here if you don’t mind. I can do my fortunetelling in a corner.” Just don’t send me back in there, please. For the love of all that was good and beautiful and… not kinky. Just then, a customer approached the counter and looked uncertainly at Adler. “Are you the fortuneteller? Can I still—”
“Yes, oh but of course! Excuse me, then.” The girl looked a bit frightened by Adler’s extreme reaction but could do nothing about it, for the Guardian had taken her cup and placed her hand in the small of her back to steer her towards a free table in the corner, winking back at Capsule and Blackcoat before settling in and getting down to business. Death is only the beginning. Vayne sighed as Weegee explained that he was no longer a threat to Vayne's mentality and morality, and that he badly wants to pee. Vayne gave him an incredulous look before he nodded. He backed away from Weegee, moving toward the entrance to the tea shop part of the tent. He gazed cautiously at Weegee as he stood at the entrance. "Alright Weegee I'll let you go," Vayne said in a very cautiously tone of voice. "but no sudden movements you hear?" With that Vayne ordered his puppet to release the drugged out man, having the puppet skip toward Vayne, picking up the torn shirt along the way. Vayne sighed as he took his shirt from the puppet, looking at it as he cluched it in his hands. He can't believe that his shirt, which was his shirt, was torn up. This shirt was with him during the time he got torn up by an Ancient Ammut, and it NEVER got this torn up. Weegee is a dangerous individual. He really cant believe that he was attacked, and his property was damaged. If he was in the old world, he would have sued. He, however, was in Elder Tales now, and the judiciary was non existing. Vayne just settled at muttering some curses under his breath. He was not, however, angry at Weegee. The man was under influence, and he really couldn't be blamed for his actions. "Now I have to look for a damn tailor." Vayne muttered as he put the shirt back into his bag. He needed to get a tailor right after this. He cant very well spend the next few days shirtless. He was not Channing Tatum, who made a living by taking off his shirt in every damn movie. He was a respectable person, and he will not make it a habit of being stripped all the time. "I really need a cuppa tea." he added as he turned toward the tea shop. Vayne pulled back the flap of the doorway and entered the shop. He saw that almost everyone turned to look at him as he walked. shirtless, through the room and sat down on one of the chairs. He didn't really care on what people thought about him, all he needed was a cup of calming tea to soothe his agitated nerves. People might be thinking that he must be some kind of exhibitionist, but frankly he did not give a rat's ass anymore. He had been attacked, straddled, and stripped, and he would probably bite anyone who would stand between him and his tea. He was developing a massive migraine resulting from the events that occurred. As he sat down, really ignoring the people's stares, he raised his hand, calling to the server's attention. His headache was now a full blown migraine, and he can only think that a cup of tea is what he needed. "Can I get a cup of tea? ANY kind of tea?" he said in a slightly irritated tone of voice.
