That way I know how much gold we need left to get the place. - Please don't feel obliged to donate/donate a lot. Atrium, green house, library, meeting room, amphitheater all sound kind of nice. My reasoning for choosing the rooms were that 4 of them would appeal to the crafting and research side of things and 4 to the more social/charity aspects of things. Harmonie~ I absolutely agree to using 8 rooms, and the way you divided them was pretty awesome too. My question, however, is what exactly will the "atrium" provide for the guild? The other suggestions are self-explanatory though I'd like to see a description of their purposes just in case I might end up picturing something else entirely. Oh! Okay, gotcha. Thank you. I knew I needed the descriptions somehow. lol. I looked up "atrium" in the dictionary and it said that it was the main or central room of a building with the ceiling open to the skies. Reading that, I immediately thought of the foyer in a house. But I also knew that "atrium" was similar to a "green house" and got confused over that bit. Also, that's a good path our guild can get into. I was thinking that way too, but I was iffy on the "atrium" vs "green house" thing so I went with amphitheater instead. I figured (well, I pictured) we could have the office be a big one where it could be both a library AND a meeting room? Because to be honest, we kind need those too but it's hard to choose since we only have 8 available rooms. So that left "amphitheater" for me. © EMMIE OF WICKED WONDERLAND

KhaleesiFor the last room I can't decide if I want a meeting place (library, meeting room, amphitheater) or something for the apothecary/alchemist/pharmacists in our guild, since the chefs get the cafe as their social aspect. Keep in mind that when we upgrade to level 5 we'll get additional specialty rooms too. OH. Maybe we can ditch the office for now since we don't have any scribes yet. And get that when we reach level 5 housing instead.
Then again, by the time we reach level 4 housing, we might already have new members who might be scribes so... @___@or we can have meetings in the office for the scribes, yes. That's a great idea! :D

Yeah, that's quite a predicament there. They're all really good choices, to be honest. And since you mentioned the level 5 upgrade... Hehehe. I feel better about what we can drop or add to our list. Anyways, we should keep the office. Since it's only like, what, 3-5 of us at the moment, we shouldn't be too cramped. And if anything we can just RP them having the meeting outside and do it over picnic. LOL I also changed my mind. I think we should do the "green house" instead. The "atrium" sounds nice since it's indoors, but a "green house" can probably do so much more, imo. Unless there's a huge difference then I kind of see them as basically the same. Just curious... do we have a floor plan of the hospital (aka our future guild house)? I tend to get super excited and detail oriented about things like this so we can plan out where things go and stuff. It'll also act as a reference to RP posts. xD © EMMIE OF WICKED WONDERLAND

My word, our hospital is going to be amazing!!! Looking at those pictures... I wish it was real! You can add my vote to the list for a green house too! Also, I'm not sure if they took away the ability to have two rooms become one but if they didn't, we should definitely add a library in with either the cafe or the office, unless we require a giant library or they changed that rule and then it wouldn't be a bad idea to have one anyways. In terms of the meeting room, the housing comes with all the basics, including a living room so we could even turn that into our meeting room since it probably won't be used for anything else other than just being there lol Oh my goodness.. now that I've started thinking.. my mind won't stop >.> I think that if you do want to take out the office and add it later then maybe we should have a research facility since we plan on doing research and crafting.. Though we each seem to have our own crafting station as it is so research could just be done there.. And in terms of the cafe being the social area for chefs, I didn't see anything like a potions shop or anything for the others to really up their social aspects, though I believe that the cafe would be for the guild as a whole.. We could sell potions on the side.. like an under the counter drug dealer XD Oh god.. I'm sorry >.> I shall stop ranting on that note XD

Hmm, you're right! We don't really have a potions/medicine shop for our pharmacists and alchemists. I guess in my mind, I was thinking the greenhouse would be their social aspect-- a place where they can grow whatever materials they need, or just sit around and chill around the plants. xP (In some of the image references I linked to the possible greenhouse, there is plenty of seating space-- they can totally set up some pretty tables, chairs, bean bags, etc.) I like the idea of there being a under the counter drug dealer section in the cafe that sells potions/medicine though. Maybe a booth to the side or something? I have seen plenty of cafes that sell things to the side (usually toys or books but in our case it can be medicine haha). They can grab a coffee while they wait for their medicine/potion to be ready. :) Alternatively, our pharmacists and alchemists can just sell their stuff in the hospital portion of the guild house. O: I mean, most hospitals, if you need medicine after getting look at, will give it to you so... xD Also woot, 3 votes for greenhouse !

I don't think the hotel should be removed as it is a place for our residents/ patients to rest in their own manor.. I would say you could ask if the hospital gives us that same thing, but if we are to house people for any amount of time, whether it be an hour or a day, I think personal rooms are best. Personally, I think the library could even wait for the level 5 upgrade, but that's just my thinking~
Also, I would like to donate 2,000G towards the guild house (and ask where all my money went since I don't remember spending 10,000Gs when I was away and I'm pretty sure I had it... -tilts head- I should go inform someone of this find...)

Take my money! Here to confirm that I will be donating 1,000 G. Also, this is just me regurgitating what I've read so far. 1) We are now doing a level 5 Guild House. 2) We have 7 out 10 specialty rooms: - Apothecary
- Deluxe Kitchen
- Office
- Laboratory
- Hospital
- Hotel
- Cafe
3) Furniture (we should hammer this out after we cement which specialty rooms will be in our guild house) I'm going to assume that we now have 3 more open spots, in which "green house" CLICK ME! ('cuz this is how I kind of picture the green house to be when you talk about being able to have tables and stuff in there) will probably take one of the slots. What other two rooms should we get? Most, if not all, of the rooms we have chosen are for inter-guild related. I would like to propose getting the meeting room 'cuz it can be used to welcome and talk business with those outside of the guild rather than allowing them in a homey environment. We are a neutral guild so we shouldn't be catering to anyone even if we're chummy with them. If they're there for social purposes then no problem. And a research facility since we'll be making drugs and stuff. But the inner bookworm in me would love to have a library. And I know Lavina has her own library in her personal house, but like... wouldn't it be weird if the other guild members keep asking to borrow books? Or they'll just be going in and out of her house without her permission? At least that's how I'm understanding it. I might go with other options but as of this moment, they'll be serving the same purposes as the ones we've already listed but at a higher scale. Ex.: a cafe vs a restaurant. Also, regarding the "hotel" and "hospital" thing... I say keep both. Buying a Guild House already has personal rooms (with bathrooms) for each member so the hotel aspect doesn't affect the guild members. HOWEVER, the hotel can act as a sort of refuge for those who have no where to go, but they're not part of a the guild. The hospital is, of course, only for the injured and the sick. You don't want to be mixing in the sick in the midst of the healthy. Is there anything that I missed? © EMMIE OF WICKED WONDERLAND
