Apocrypha is an intelligence and exploration guild, created for the purpose of leading the world to a more orderly and sophisticated age. We focus on crafting and cartography by adventuring through the world and harnessing its knowledge in order to create our own future. While we do not specialize in combat, activities such as field scouting and dungeon raiding are viable ways for us to learn more about the world. Underneath the heavens of a mysterious new land, we must take the reins and lead ourselves toward a better world.

We are currently allianced with the guild Aeryn. Due to the close collaboration between the two guilds, any activity you may participate in as an Apocrypha member will most likely also be closely involved with Aeryn members. This collaboration is not limited to simply in-character activities. By choosing to become a member or friend of the Aeryn-Apocrypha Alliance, you may enjoy other OOC activities such as game nights and group chatrooms. If you're looking not for simply a guild for your character to join, but more of a large yet close group that you can gradually get to know and call friends, we welcome your application. Why should you join?

- Many of the mods are in our guild. (Please don't let this be your main reason for joining. xD)
- We are a small but active guild in terms of RP and community.

Apocrypha's forward Exploration division, expanding the map's borders. It is the front of Apocrypha as its members serve to be the welcoming light to bring forward stronger friendships. Solstice is lead by Hirosame.

Asterial Age

The Regalia of Knowledge

"Seek the truth beyond the endless skies of mystery."
Apocrypha's Intel division, based on gathering information about the world. The other side of the coin, Asterial Age is a smaller division where its members perform more independently for the common goal of collecting knowledge. They are the strategists of the team, planning closely coordinated events with Solstice in order to achieve their goals. Asterial Age is headed by Midori.

Mabinogi

An MMO that has been the inspiration for the guild and in fact, we actually have an Apocrypha guild on the Tarlach server. It's a very anime-esque game and probably the closest equivalent to Elder Tale in terms of storyline and gameplay.

Garry's Mod

A Steam sandbox game (store). A number of us tend to fool around on this game, playing random game modes for the sake of hilarity. Pictured is Murder, a game where you're either a murderer who stabs people with knives, a bystander with a gun (usually a horrible shot), or simply a bystander whose job is simply to spam iknewit.wav taunts. We also play other game modes like Prop Hunters and Ultimate Chimera Hunt.

Not just a nutritious part of a balanced breakfast, but also an anime-themed board game on Steam (store). Explore the map trying to get stars, beating up your friends in the process, and then get all your stars stolen by a little girl.

Left 4 Dead 2

It's a horror zombie-killing FPS on Steam (store) but many of us have modded the game so much that it's basically a comedy game. Join our guild leaders in their zombie-hunting adventures as they explore a variety of areas like an overrun shopping mall, a creepy carnival, and even a zombie-filled Disneyland. Don't expect us to be very good at the game though. We play Easy Mode to fool around most of the time.

See above except it looks more like Minecraft and arguably harder to survive. It's free on Steam though (store). Come journey with us as we whack zombies with sledgehammers, run over deer with cars, and then eventually swerve too hard on that one turn and run our cars into the ocean.

A note, though. We probably won't start on the airship for a while yet, so you may need to wait around for that one. However, feel free to hone your skills beforehand. Being in a group quest with 2+ other guild members will warrant guild bonuses to AP, so be sure to check that out! Super handy, if I do say so myself.

While we're open to any member who would like to join, we kind of make it apparent that there's 2 divisions within our guild, that we may use as an RP element later in the forum. If you would like to join, please specify which of the divisions you would like to join. Also, be aware that you won't be the only Monk in the guild, as I am also a Monk. Don't let that discourage you from joining, however! All we would like to know is what you would like to be doing while in the guild, whether it's joining the Solstice division or the Asterial Age division. Both are explained further up, so please take a few moments to read their importance.

Of course! Keep in mind that joining Apocrypha will allow you benefits of being in an Alliance with the Aeryn guild, so you should check out what they have to offer too.

I would probably suggest starting off as a Solstice member because Asterial Age is a bit more specialized and quite a bit more dead as well.
