This is a brief thread and I am requesting that all active members post below stating that they are such. Regardless of whether or not you have an approved character, I ask that you post showing your activity. Use the small BBCode template and fill it in as necessary.

• If you have multiple characters, you only post once but include all of the tags for those characters.
• If you are not approved and do not have a character, but you have a Pending/WIP, then link the Pending/WIP at the bottom.
• If you do not have either a Pending or a WIP, then simply fill out the sheet below without the characters listed. This will save your account from deletion.

This check runs until January 1st. On January 2nd, all non-character accounts will be deleted, regardless of whether or not there is a WIP or a Pending profile linked to them. Character Profiles that have been approved but do not post here will become inactive. If you miss this by a day, you will have to wait until the Staff finish cleaning up the profiles before you can go through the reactivation procedure. Contact the Staff if you have any questions.

At the end of this check, another post will be made with information on how to recover your account should you be placed into the inactive pile. But, if you're reading this and you have a character, you should probably post.

I have been incredibly busy with the holidays, but even without that on my plate I am a casual player who can usually only handle only a single thread, maybe two at a time. I am an assistant manager and I work so much that sometimes I nap what little of 'me time' I have away. But when I can spare it, I love to RP. That said, I know that you guys have stated that you plan to revamp the leveling system and your probably very tired of hearing this, but since I do not participate in the Discord chat I would like to say my piece. In the eyes of a casual player the current numbers required for leveling are very depressing. I do not RP here anymore in hopes of leveling my character because I have no hope in doing so. IMO the first ten levels should be very easy to obtain. (Think J Curve for Exp gain) And considering that we have three individual classes to level up, I do not think having to do many threads for each class to gain one level for only one of the three classes is the way to go. The AP system was flawed yes, but perhaps the flaws can be removed. I would very much prefer a system that rewards quality and length of a thread instead of sheer quantity of threads. It would encourage me to RP more instead of sticking with my one thread and waiting for my partner to come back and post for me xD TLDR? I love the concept of the RP, but right now that is the only thing keeping me here. The mechanics push me away instead of draw me in.

To Members:
- The responsibility of keeping the site active is not only on the staff, but the members as well, so it'll be moreso important to welcome any new members and make sure they're encouraged enough to stick around. This is even more evident with the Discord being more active than the chatbox, so it's easy to isolate people who aren't aware of the channel and those who choose not to join it.
- Member-run events, IC or OOC. The Christmas movie event being set up in Discord seems to be a good step so far in initiative. Perhaps post up a thread about it on the site so others are aware of it.




Suggestions for the Staff:

Chat:
- Potentially a way to integrate the Discord into the site layout. I don't think it's currently possible to embed the chat channel itself, but I think it's possible to show who's online or in voice channels. Perhaps replace the chicken message on the side with it.
- A text chat channel for RP content in Discord. Maybe one for site announcements which doubles as a channel to tag people in threads.

Logistics:
- I would agree a leveling curve adjustment would help. Otherwise we get back into the slow pace that SAO RP had, and it gets repetitive when all you have are the same few skills being used.
- Guild system change. Guilds are some of the more effective ways of forming groups that RP with each other. At the same time, its requirements (Level 15 leader) are outdated. I would suggest that guilds can be established from the get-go, as long as they have 3+ active members.
- Sustainability in systems is my overall suggestion. I once suggested some ideas like members updating their own profiles with AP/items/skills (by replying to their thread) as a way to lower strain on claims and give members their own responsibility. I think system changes like these are moreso important when you don't have a lot of staff.
- Don't try to change things too much or be too ambitious on large projects. Sugar's mod group tried to change too much and met themselves with a creative writer's block. Do only what you can manage and if something seems difficult to design, consider asking for feedback.

Events:
- Site events were very common before to the point where people felt it was a little too easy to get AP or rewards. I believe that should be the point. Events are great incentives for people to RP and it helped newbies catch up at the same time.
- Advertisement event once launch is fully ready. We're hardly going to get members just because someone just started/finished watching Log Horizon.

Suggestions for the Site: Two things killed my motivation after the reset. First, the very slow leveling speed, but that seems to be known. Second, having to claim threads and wait for approval before actually starting the thread. One of the joys of RPing is to just create a thread, wait for people to join, and only then start plotting on what happens in the thread. I can understand needing to claim threads when we plan for it to actually try to deepen the plot of the forum, but that is absolutely unnecessary for small Social and Training threads.
Suggestions for the Staff: Be more trusty of the members. Rigid anti-cheat procedures such as the dice rolling rules in the AP shops leave a very bad image, especially when you can actually get cheated back by not understanding the procedure. Also, try to keep things as simple as possible. I've spent 90% of the first reset week trying to figuring out rules and verifying if I was doing things right, and only 10% actually RPing, when it should be the other way around.
