So it has come to my attention that the Site seems a bit dead, however there is quite a bit of activity in the Discord Chat. It seems a bit odd and it reflects in an ill manner because it seems like no one is here, but due to the topics and discussions sometimes made, Discord allows us to be a bit more "loose lipped". It also allows us to connect with each other a lot more easily. The downside is that the site seems dead. Due to this, I will be doing three things to try and aid in the Site's activity levels.
Do note that if you do not have a Discord Account or you just don't care for Discord, you are not required to make an account. It is simply a way for me to keep track of who is who in the Chat. No more unknowns.

- I will be adding a Widget to the Site for people to use Discord. Some of you may not like to use Discord, but it will at least allow you to see that there are people around. A good handful of players use Discord exclusively to communicate, so this allows you to keep in touch or at least see that they are available. I personally prefer to use Discord over the CBox, but there's always those that like the old-style chat, and that's fine! At least by adding in the widget, players can be on the site and view both boxes at the same time.
- In addition to the Widget, it will be required that you add your Discord name to your profile. There are several faces in the Discord chat that are either inactive or they do not have characters and that does not sit well with me. This is mainly so because the Discord Chat is meant to be used as an alternative to the CBox and is meant to be used for Log-Horizon exclusive use. Instead it's become a sort of disconnected room. I want to bridge the gap and bring activity back to the site.
- Thus, along with having to add your Discord name to your profile, those who do not have a character or go inactive will be removed from the chat. There will be an additional side chat that will allow for more random banter and non-roleplayers will be allowed to join, however this will be selective, and most people in this chat will have had previous characters on the site or will be very close friends to the rest of us who are still active in the community to some extent. So if you have a friend who is on Discord and you want them to join us, it is suggested that you bring them through the CBox first.

This is effective immediately and players will be given until the end of January to register their names below. On January 31st, I will be cleaning up the Discord account list.
